The Excelsior League is a charity organization that focuses on brightening the lives and smiles of children in need and children fighting the battle against life threatening illnesses. We do this through using our talent of costume building and character portrayal at special charity events, functions, and private hospital visits. Our mission is to improve the quality of life with pure heart and cosplay as that is what we put into our ideal of making others happy through our passion of cosplay and prop building.

Here at The Excelsior League we always try to put our best foot forward to raise awareness about charity for those in need in general. We seek volunteers that want simply nothing other than to make those in need smile and to help them see that during difficult times, there is always a hero there looking out for them whether it be in costume or not. The mental health of a child in need, especially children battling terminal illness is very important. A strong, healthy, positive, and happy mental status can really support their physical battles. Our members/volunteers volunteer their time as costume characters with no other motive than to make a child in need feel happy. We use the full capacity or our hearts to bring that positive, magical, and uplifting experience. That will always be the core value of our organization. As an organization we offer special incentives like parades, and special monthly parties where our members with come together and celebrate one another and the good that we all do as a group for those in need and to build relationships on a friendship type level. We have built many fantastic connections with local and non-local agencies, children's hospitals, children's homes, comic-cons, fundraisers and local businesses who have common interests as we do regarding charity and the like. In closing, we hope to have you as a new volunteer to help spread the goodness that is costuming for a cause!
